Snap Shots or Pompeii Visiting #Pompeii, with a b Snap Shots or Pompeii
Visiting #Pompeii, with a bit of imagination, stories, and well preserved houses, it truly transports you back to the daily life of this ancient Roman city. In 79AD mighty eruption of Mount Vesuvius had buried it with volcanic ash, preserving it for centuries.

I’m captivated by the stunning frescoes from luxurious villas, intricate mosaics that whisper tales of the past, and haunting plaster casts of those caught in the eruption’s deadly embrace. Pompeii’s history comes alive in every picture. We went around for 3 hours super tired and have not been to everywhere we wanted. It’s not meant for 1 day visit

We aren’t prepared to line up for 2 hrs but I did go one time at 1030pm (closes at 1130p) but they were out of pizza! so we went the next day at 1130am (opens at 11a). Then we were able to be there and out in approx 30min! I do find that it tastes just as good as the other no Michelin star resto Lombardi S Chiara #pizzalover #pizzanapoletana #naples #napoli

The Sunset Windmill Villa, Oia, Santorini So, aft The Sunset Windmill Villa, Oia, Santorini

So, after diving for 7 days and doing a 6-day temple run in Egypt, I knew I needed a break. Decided Santorini is the perfect place to chill following the intense jam packed 2 weeks. Instead of just grabbing a room for a couple of nights, I went all out and booked this fantastic villa - the Sunset Windmill in Oia. It was a bit on the pricier side, but still half of what we paid at the Sheraton Maldives.

The villa? Just wow. It’s got 3 bedrooms, 3 toilets and showers, a proper kitchen, a sala, some cool outdoor seating, and a hot tub! One massive bonus is its location right by the main road. So, no dragging our bags down those endless Oia steps. Though, someone actually helped with our luggage - seriously, these lads are so strong 💪

And the sunset view. It’s not just a sunset; it’s THE sunset, right in front of our villa. People actually come to Oia to catch this view, and here I am, soaking it up 24x7 for 3 days. I’m telling you, this place is worth every penny (and nope, not sponsored). With this kind of view, I’m thinking I might just be tempted to stay in. But hey, Santorini might just coax me out. We’ll see :)

The Oceanic Whitetip Shark, easily recognized by its white-tipped fins, is a notable predator of the open seas. While many sharks are generally uninterested in humans, the Oceanic Whitetip has been linked to several incidents (not scuba diving) , earning it a reputation as one of the more aggressive shark species.🦈 #OceanicWhitetip #StayAware #RedSea #GhazalaExplorer Wanderlass @oceantribefleet @adel_m._el_beialy @goproph #goprohero12 on hand
🇪🇬 Last year, Egypt was a dream that came tr 🇪🇬 Last year, Egypt was a dream that came true, from diving in the Red Sea to tracing history through Luxor, Aswan, and Abu Simbel to Cairo. But who knew the land of Pharaohs would call me back so soon? Here I am again, taking the same mesmerizing route. This is Giza, where I the iconic silhouette of the pyramids every morning as well as night

We dove into history as we stood before the awe-inspiring Giza Pyramids. Built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt, these architectural wonders have stood the test of time (5,000. years old), with the Great Pyramid being the last of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still in existence. The complex consists of three primary pyramids: the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. Guarded by the enigmatic Sphinx, these pyramids were not just tombs, but a testament to the pharaohs’ enduring legacies.

𝑨𝒃𝒖 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒍 is a renowned archaeological site in Egypt, located near the border with Sudan. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its remarkable rock-cut temples, which were built during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II in the 13th century BC.

The main attraction is the Great Temple of Abu Simbel, dedicated to Ramses II himself, with massive statues of the pharaoh's likeness adorning the facade. Next to it is the smaller but equally impressive Temple of Hathor, dedicated to Ramses II's favorite wife, Queen Nefertari.

What makes Abu Simbel even more extraordinary is its relocation in the 1960s to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser, following the construction of the Aswan High Dam. It took only 4 year to move the 2 temples and the mountain it was carved in 65m higher!

I’ll say more 90% of people who visited Abu Simbel came by car. It is 3-4 hour drive thru the desert from Aswan (per way). The temple is very remote.

Flights are available for approx 150$ from Aswan but you have to stay overnight. Cruise also can get you Abu Simbel but it takes 4 days and $400-600.

I had the pleasure of staying at the @iberotelluxo I had the pleasure of staying at the @iberotelluxor #Luxor last year, and I fell in love with the room with a Nile view. In the morning, you can catch a breathtaking sight of hot air balloons floating above the river—a truly magical experience. The hotel’s selection of restaurants was impressive, and breakfast offered a wide array of choices

The central location allowed for easy exploration of Luxor’s historical treasures, such as the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. I highly recommend staying here
