Hello! I am going to Hong Kong this April 11-15, 2016. I was wondering if you could suggest a travel agency who accepts Shenzhen Visa applications or Shenzhen tour package for solo back packpackers like me because I would like to explore as well nearby cities like Macau and Mainland China (Shenzhen).
I hope I can also find travel buddies here that are interested to go to Shenzhen. Maybe we could team up so we can apply for a China group visa.
Thanks :)
I APPLIED a visa for China in HK.but ot was denied. Filipinos.cant do it in HK anymore. I hope to travel.to shenzhen, too and so I got back jere in manila and applied aagin but was denied.I was really sad . I want to apply.for another visa but they said it is impossible until 6months later.
Hello po, napansin ko madali lang naman mag apply ng Shenzhen basta po China group visa ang aapplyan thru an agency and they require minimum of two. I really want to visit Shenzhen kahit Day tour lang and see Window of the World Theme Park! If you like po, I am going this April. We can apply together for group visa. For the sake of approval! hehe If it’s not possible for a solo visa, let’s go for a group visa! :)
Hello sherry are you here right now in hongkong. I am applying visa tommorrow to go to shenzhen. Maybe we can be together.
Hi! Natuloy ka mag Shenzhen? Saang agency ka nagpa process ng group china visa? Thank u
Hi, we have been to HK and Macau last year and me and my husband visited Shenzhen for a day tour. Dragon hostel where are are staying in HK, processed all our documents for Shenzhen tour. including the group visa where we got it the next day and also the tour (train from HK to Shenzhen roundtrip, transportation around shenzhen and tours windows of the world, splendid china, and factories, lunch and dinner)
Hi. I have all the documents except the ITR. Would it be an issue or still I need to submit it? First time applicant here. I got denied during my first application last year but after that, I’ve been to more than 6 countries and been to Europe twice (Schengen visa)
Do you think there is a higher chance of approval? Should I go through a travel agency to make sure that I won’t fail this time? I need to fly to Shanghai before January 20. Thanks in Advance for your thoughts.
Hi Divine,
I just want to ask, when you get denied do they put a sticker or stamp on your passport that you were denied a visa?
No, they will just return your passport. They are not even allowed to tell you the reason.
i am a PHILIPPINES PASSPORT HOLDER , i am traveling from peru to canada to the philippiness MANILA , with stop over in beijing for 4 hours JUST TO CHANGE FLIGHTS, DO I NEED A TRANSIT VISA. FOR 4 HOURS WAITING?
Hello.
I’m planning to go to Shenzhen as a tourist. i am currently in Thailand. Is there a visa I need to pay for? Or can I just fly there and get a visa in the airport?
Hi im from cebu and a shooting incident happened in cebu bet consulate and now we are advice to get chinese visa in manila since we dont have much time to apply here in philippines can we get chinese visa in hongkong instead? Thank you
I don’t know this for sure, but my bet would be no.
I’m a dual citizen, US and Philippines. Which passport should I use to get a visa? Which one is safer but also can save me money to apply?
You probably have better chance with US passport? I’m not sure what the requirements for US Citizen though.
Hi! I’m going to ShenZhen this coming October 13-16 ,and I just learned that they no longer offer Visa on Arrival for Filipinos. My first time back in 07 in ShenZhen they still allow it. Anyway, I already have a previous chinese visa. I just want to know, the 2 days processing, does it mean, if I apply Monday, I get it on Tuesday? Assuming there will be no additional documents required? And what are the odds of being rejected for the visa? I don’t mind paying the additional cost for rush processing but I just want to be sure if I got that timeline right? The regular processing is 4 working days, with the release of the passport with or without visa on the 4th day. I’m just not sure about the 2 days processing (or what they call rush).

Hi Wanderlust
Thanks for the great info about applying a visa for China..I’m a Filipina have an Austrian boyfriend for more than a year. He is working in HK and planning to celebrate together the Chinese New Year in Shenzhen China he got already a reservation in the hotel under his name. So now how can I apply a visa? Can i use his name in hotel reservation?Do i still need to provide his bank account or mine? How long it will take to get a visa?I was only given 5 months to work for my visa. I will highly appreciate your reply Ms Wanderlust. Thank you :-)
If this is the first time you are applying for Chinese visa then you need to provide all the document listed on my blog. These info are taken from the Chinese embassy page. The visa with complete req’t takes only 4 days. If you just go to HKG, you will not need visa at all.
Hi Wanderlass, This is a very helpful and well-written blog. I was wondering if you might know the answer of might have experienced this before, I have noticed that the emergency contact page needs to be filled out.
Question: We are travelling as a complete family for a vacation and our dad’s name is the one appearing in our emergency page. Have you experienced the same situation where the emergency contact is your companion?
Thanks.
