Israel VISA
Filipinos don’t need visa going to Israel!
Israel has visa exemption agreements with many countries and we’re one of them! Philippine passport holders are allowed to visit for 90 days. Note that this is visa for tourism and not allowed for work or studying. This agreement allows Israeli visitors get 59 days visa on arrival while the rest of foreign visitors (Brazilian is another exception) only get 30 days.

My aunt called the Jordanian Consulate in Manila today and was shocked to hear that it now takes 4 months (yes months, not weeks!) to get a tourist visa from the Philippines. The rush service takes 1-2 months and still the officer discouraged my aunt from applying because she will be flying with my mom to Dubai in February. They didn’t want to be blamed for any delays.
Such a shame because we already bought 4 Flydubai tickets to Amman via Dubai. =(
Today my aunt called the Consulate to ask about the free visa entry to Aqaba and the officer said that Filipino passport holders will still need to get a visa prior to entry.
I am so disappointed because I’ve been to Jordan and it was a breeze applying for a visa from Dubai a few years ago with a UAE work permit (submit requirements in the morning and you get your passport back in the afternoon).
Anyone with a similar experience?
Wow! I’m looking on the net for info about Jordan visa. I have the same situation. I have a work visa in dubai. And my husband is in manila. We plan to travel this June. Hoping we get the visa on time!

bank account or other financial proof is almost always a requirement in any visa application
Hi! thanks for this very useful post..
is it true that we still need to apply for a CLEARANCE preliminary to applying for an Egyptian Visa?how long is the visa valid for from date of issue?
thank you!
Hi iwould like to ask if i can travel to jordan from iran without jordanian visa? Im a philippine passport holder. And after visiting jordan can i cross to israel without visa also? Tnx
I can’t answer re iran, but positive for jordan to israel.
I dont know what kind of procedure on visa processing the Jordan embassy has. My application is more than 30 days now in process and still dont have a result. Its so disappointing.
Egypt issued me a visa its so easy. But this Jordan’s ? oh i dont know. After paying visa fee of 100usd and following up your application they answered you … “Rebook mo na lng ticket mo” . Rude.
They are useless! I hope their honorary embassy status gets revoked. Other option is to enter via Aqaba – Israel. You can do Egypt, Israel, Jordan.
I still have 3 days to wait otherwise i ll cancel my bookings (hotel and car) in Jordan ASAP and have more days in Israel and Egypt. According to consular office in Manila we re still need visa even entering in Aqaba. Thanks
No we don’t. Jordan Tourism Board (in Jordan) confirm this. I entered Jordan through Aqaba. I didn’t need visa even if I had one in my pocket. Read the Crossing Jordan post.
I was in Israel in the summer of 2012 , Eilat in particular and would like to join a Petra tour – A visa was processed … paid $50 even if we entered through Aqaba, plus around $40 for an exit fee from Israel …Has all that changed now? btw, I am a Filipino and a permanent resident of the US.
You mentioned in a post re non-schengen countries particularly Croatia – I am planning to join a pilgrimage to Medjugorje in the fall. Does the rule apply to Bosnia- Herzegovenia?
Since you are knowledgeable in our visa limitations – when you join a cruise to Baltic Countries, are visas waived if you are a passenger going to Russian port, St Petersburg?
I did ask consulate staff in NYC, no one seemed to have an idea how to go about visa requirements or waiver to other countries …
I plan to go to the consulate of these countries but if you have an idea It would be helpful if you can post it as general info for us carrying a Philippine passport …
Thanks!
yes bojo i told u that’s my problem, before im asking u about it remember?…kaya until now hindi nila na a approve ang visa application ko…kainis nga ang jordan embassy hindi mo alam kung anu ba talaga ang procedure nila…
Na approved nila visa ko last minute I called Jordan embassy in Tokyo they apologized for the delay at nakarating na ko ng Petra hehe lucky me . I got also egypt visa and been to Cairo yesterday. :) Happy new year!
