Sheraton Kuta Bali
My flight to Bali was delayed for over an hour, making my already late arrival, later. The only comfort is knowing that  I will be staying in a nice hotel, Sheraton Kuta Bali. I’m not a 5-star traveler, but I enjoy luxury like the next person. :)
I arrived Sheraton Kuta Bali past 2 a.m. The hotel looked asleep but the few who were awake were friendly and welcoming. It feels nice after a long day of traveling. I’m the last person to check-in for the day and the reception greeted me by my name. The check-in process was swift, and what a great news that they upgraded me to a sea view room, which I know I’ll appreciate in the morning. Very soon I was lead to my room where I can’t wait to hit the bed.
The Room
It’s a welcoming sight to see the spacious room and inviting big bed! I can’t wait to jump under the duvet and crash, but let me take some photos first.

Sweet Surprise!
How sweet to find some petit fours and fondant treats! They figure of backpack, hiking shoes, and compass. If I have to explain, this is because Wanderlass is a traveler, backpacker, adventurer. The cakes are wonderful! The backpack is chocolate inside if you were wondering.
I’m very impressed and touched with the warm welcome they gave me! I wish I had better picture of them! :(
Welcome Cake!
The glass division between bathroom and bedroom has become standard in many nice hotels, we have it here also. The obvious purpose is so you can watch tv while taking your bubble bath. :D

The Feast
The breakfast is served at the Feast, an aptly named restaurant because the selection you have here is enormous! It can almost cause panic because it’s hard to decide where to begin. You have all the usual continental bacon, sausages, eggs of your choosing; Chinese congee with million of sidings; waffles, pancakes, and all sorts of breads; and you also get unlikely stuff such as pizzas, sushis, and cheeses. I bet if I look, I can find wine to go with it. The interior is very modern, but I like to sit myself near the window to get a nice morning view.

The Pool & View
Summer is super intense this year, so while I waited for my friends to arrive, a dip in the pool is a great idea during this very hot summer day. As lovely as my room was, I just love to sit on the lounge and enjoy the view of the ocean while enjoy my iced tea. You also get access to spa and fitness center while in here.
