Israel VISA
Filipinos don’t need visa going to Israel!
Israel has visa exemption agreements with many countries and we’re one of them! Philippine passport holders are allowed to visit for 90 days. Note that this is visa for tourism and not allowed for work or studying. This agreement allows Israeli visitors get 59 days visa on arrival while the rest of foreign visitors (Brazilian is another exception) only get 30 days.

Have a question regarding the Jordan Visa. Our flights to and from the region are via Tel Aviv, not Amman. (We plan to cross into Jordan via land). Do you suggest that we book refundable flights to Amman for visa purposes (and just cancel them after) so that they do not see that we intend to go to Israel?
It has been a long time since I was in Jordan. I really can’t say. But if I were to apply now, I think that’s what I’ll do.
Can we go to jordan from israel without getting visa in manila?
doesn’t look like you can now
Hi Wanderlass,
I would like to seek for your suggestions on Egypt Visa Application. It will be my first time to see Egypt, and I’m so excited about it. I will be with my German boyfriend, who’s working in Cairo Egypt. We will meet in Hurgada Egypt. Does it have an interview?
dont go jordan? are there many bibilcal historical sites there?
I wish I have enough savings to do the same..happy for you girl. :)
hi wanderlass, im planning a trip to jordan to visit the rose gold city of Petra. in your statement of the requirements for visa you didnt include bank statements. so im i right to assume that i dont need to present bank documents? thanks.
I think my post is quite updated
Dear Wanderlass, I hope you can update this post or probably delete it. This has misled too many travelers, including me. Your information on visa free entry in Aqaba and on visa processing time at the Jordanian Consulate in Manila are not true at all. The consulate requires 1-2 months (expedite), 3-4 months (regular). Filipinos cannot enter ANY PORT of entry in Jordan without a visa.
Hi Angie, Were you able to get a visa to Jordan? Mind sharing some tips on how you did it? I was able to read this post months before and really thought that I could enter Jordan, visa free via Aqaba but it’s a good thing I was able to come across the updated post again. Planning to travel early February so a 3-4 months time frame won’t work for me. Also, I don’t know anyone from Jordan. *panic* hehehehe any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hello, wanderlass! I hope you can accommodate my question. When Jepoy was applying for his visa, was he asked to leave his passport at the embassy or was he told to wait for someone’s call and gave his passport back? Thank you!
hmm im not jepoy but id like to share my experience.haha.in my case my passport was given back to me and i was advised by the secretary that they’ll just call.the same thing was advised to another applicant too.though for those who applied thru agency, they kept the passports and inform the agency rep that theyll call once visa/passport is available
DO NOT GO TO JORDAN! You’ll only be wasting money and time applying for a visa. I applied last July 13 for the visit visa and paid 7.2K. The Jordan Consulate in Manila ensured me that processing will take 3-4 months. It is already the 153rd day and we still don’t have our visa. I have already called the embassy and foreign ministry in Tokyo and Amman, respectively. THEY ARE VERY INCONSIDERATE GIVEN that: 1. We will leave the country in 3 days and 2. We’ve been repeatedly telling them that Jordan is not the only country we’ll be visiting. It is very clear in our travel intent that our route is Dubai > Jordan > Tel Aviv and yet no one knows anything. When I asked them if there’s any chance that the visa will arrive anytime soon, they just told me that “if you’re afraid that your visa will not come on time, just rebook your flights.” WOW HOW INCONSIDERATE. DON’T FALL INTO THEIR TRAP. I DON’T WANT ANYONE ELSE TO EXPERIENCE THIS KIND OF INEFFICIENCY.
It’s probably because they know you’re entering Israel.
I believe you. It happened to me too.
