It’s easier than ever for Filipinos to apply for Japanese tourist visa. Anyone who applied with proper documents is almost guaranteed entry. And all those who have previously been to Japan is granted 5 years visa. But this year there’s an additional form to fill up to request for multiple visa, so don’t forget
Japan Visa Application Procedure
Since July 30, 2007, Japan tourist visa application can only be made through an accredited travel agencies by the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines. The travel agency will check your requirements before submitting them on your behalf. This is actually more efficient because it saves a lot of time for both the applicant and the embassy. However, time is money, so while the Japan visa remains free, the travel agencies will be charging processing fee. It varies per agency

Hi! I’m planning na mag-apply ng japan visa soon. Ask ko lang kung anong pwedeng alternative requirements if still unemployed? My parents will shoulder my expenses for the trip. Thanks! xx
Having a guarantor really helps a lot. There will be 8 of us traveling to Japan on May 2015 and we decided to apply for our visa as early as February. Seven of my family members (Mom,Dad,Brother,2 Nephews, Niece, Aunt) applied and they were all granted visa valid for 90 days with 30 days duration of stay upon entry. I, on the other hand applied here in Dubai and was only granted a 15 day stay (maybe because I only specified 15 days in my Itinerary – i.e. Schedule Of Stay document). That’s all I need anyway. By the way, my other sibling is based in Japan and he is the one who provided us the guarantee documents. From my side, I provided a photocopy of my passport, photocopy of my birth certificate, a letter addressed to the embassy highlighting my salary details as well as my intended vacation days in Japan, electronic copy of my 3 month bank statement, government ID, air ticket (yes I booked a refundable air ticket for this matter). That’s it!

Should I apply for a visa first or get a plane ticket? Thanks
Hi D, yup you should apply first for a visa. Just to be sure. :-)
hi, I have a boyfriend in Japan pero assignee lang sya for work.. and I will visit him this March.. plan ko is to stay in Japan for 15 dyas since may ticket na ako papunta and pabalik.. since andon naman un boyfriend ko, I plan to stay sa place nya provided by their company.. however, ang worry ko is magkakaproblem ba ako if I will declare na sa place nya ako mag stay since ndi ko naman sya guarantor? or should I get hotel accommodation para mas may chance maaprove visa ko?

Thanks!
As far as i know, pag 1st time magapply ng Japanese visa, you are required for an original and within a year of NSO birth Certificate. Original docus lang ang needed nila.
Hi po, i’m planning to apply for a tourist visa. I’ve to asian free visa countries and USA. How long is the processing of the ViSa?
Hi i am planning to apply for a tourist visa with my husband n kid. Hm to i need to present on my bank cert if im planning to stay for a week? I have an aunt there but will not apply for a visiting relative visa. I’ll be staying in her house, is it ok to add that to my itinerary or book a hotel?
Ang halaga ng nasa Bank Account ay naglalaro sa PHP 70,000 to 90,000 (good for three for 1 week).
Hi Wanderlass! we just submitted our visa requirements from one of the accredited agency and all we have to do now is to wait. we are applying for a tourist visa, the agency told us that we are in complete requirements and we don’t have to worry. My concern is do they still call in your house? or anyone here has experienced it? Thank you :D
in our case, the travel agency (rajah travel) called us when our visa was ready for pick up. i’m not sure with the others though :)
