It’s easier than ever for Filipinos to apply for Japanese tourist visa. Anyone who applied with proper documents is almost guaranteed entry. And all those who have previously been to Japan is granted 5 years visa. But this year there’s an additional form to fill up to request for multiple visa, so don’t forget
Japan Visa Application Procedure
Since July 30, 2007, Japan tourist visa application can only be made through an accredited travel agencies by the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines. The travel agency will check your requirements before submitting them on your behalf. This is actually more efficient because it saves a lot of time for both the applicant and the embassy. However, time is money, so while the Japan visa remains free, the travel agencies will be charging processing fee. It varies per agency

Good Day! I was born in japan but my parents are both Filipino. Is there any easier way for me to go Japan or I should comply those requirements needed as regular Filipino? Can I get “special” treatment since I was born there? Just asking
Hi wanderlass, meron po akong katanungan sainyo. Ako po at ang aking kasintahan ay nakakapagtravel around asia at nagbalak po syang mag travel kami to japan and my worry is the bank statement at itr. I am unemployed citizen at wala din ganon kalaking halaga ang bank ko po. Ano po ang suggestion nyo po to avail a tourist visa?? Btw 7 yrs na po kaming magkasintahan and he was from USA. Please help me Waderlass. TYI xx
Maybe you can ask supporting documents from your boyfriend.
I think none. Though you were born in Japan, there will be no special treatment for you. Children who falls under the category of “child of jap national” will have that “special” application as they need to show docs like koseki tohun of their mom or dad.
And my fiancée is also a filipina… Do still need to exit Japan after we get married to get spousal visa?
Magandang araw po… I have a tourist visa here in Japan for 90days at guarantor ko is my fiancée na approve po ako… Then balak namin magpakasal dito sa Japan… If ever po ba makasal kami ng fiancée ko kailangan kopaba mag exit dito sa Japan? Please need some advice po para May idea kami ng fiancée ko
Mr.c hindi na kailangan omixit pa , depende na yan sa work ng fiancee mo anong klase kasi , siya pa rin ang mag support sa iyong living life ,so puwede kang mag pakasal any time..may mga documents lang ang kailangan both ,now go to city office better they will advice you what to do ,you will know it ,minsan kasi kababayan pa natin puro hakahaka he he he….start it now time is limited.
Ate Minda Hori
