It’s easier than ever for Filipinos to apply for Japanese tourist visa. Anyone who applied with proper documents is almost guaranteed entry. And all those who have previously been to Japan is granted 5 years visa. But this year there’s an additional form to fill up to request for multiple visa, so don’t forget
Japan Visa Application Procedure
Since July 30, 2007, Japan tourist visa application can only be made through an accredited travel agencies by the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines. The travel agency will check your requirements before submitting them on your behalf. This is actually more efficient because it saves a lot of time for both the applicant and the embassy. However, time is money, so while the Japan visa remains free, the travel agencies will be charging processing fee. It varies per agency

Hello I would like to ask, nag apply ako for tourist visa with no guarantor but I have relatives in Japan. I’m planning to stay sa place nila pero ang nilagay kong address of stay sa application form is hotel kasi nga i have no guarantor at tourist visa ang inapply ko. Magkakaproblem ba ko sa immigration if I put my relative’s address kahit na tourist visa ako? Thanks!

Hello! I’d apply for a visa with my sister. Thing is, I’d apply with my sister who is still a student with neither bank account nor ITR. Would mine be enough? And if yes, does she have to indicate somewhere that I will be sponsoring her trip? Thank you so much! :)
Hi,
Thanks for this very helpful blog topic. Just want to ask, its my first time to apply for a visa without a guarantor(Last time we had an agency). I am set to tour with my family on April and I am the one in charge of basically everything. I am completing the form “Schedule of Stay” now and would like to ask, what do I put in the “contact” column since we don’t have a guarantor? Would it be the hotel number or our cellphone number?
Thank you in advance and hope to get a reply soon. :)
Also my mom is a housewife. All she can show is her other visas and Bank Certificate would that be enough? Thanks!

hi, we’re planning to go to japan this april and i do have a problem with the bank certificate.
i am a minor and the bank i’ve been using is my mother’s. is there any substitute for this requirement as my parents are based overseas.
bank account*
IF your parents are sponsoring you, you give your parents’ financial papers. If someone else, then their papers. If yours, then show proof of financial capability. Basta you have to show them proof that you have money to travel to their country.
Hi sis. How much money do i need to have sa passbook ko? I want to bring my 2 year old son sa disneyland on his 2nd bday sana. I dont have work but i have savings naman. I am a singlemom too. Possible ba na magrant kami mag ina ng tourist visa. 1st time to travel abroad. Thanks.
Hi! I would just like to ask pano kung unemployed ako ngayon, pero ung last work ko ay sa singapore, kailangan ko ba magsubmit ng itr? Tsaka pano rin kung nagpurchase ako ng vouchers for trip to japan with tour pero wala pa flights kasi wala pa ko visa, iaattach ko rin ba ung vouchers sa mga documents na issubmit ko? Thanks
Hello! Thank you for the info, they’re very helpful ^^
But I was wondering, if I’m a minor and I’m going to stay on a friend’s house but I shoulder all of my expenses, will that friend still be considered as a guarantor?
Thank you!
if you don’t have hotel reservations, you will need a guarantor paper. My advice is to not mention about your friend and make hotel bookings. Hotel reservations are cancellable.
