To wrap my post-RTW post, here are some numbers and data you may find useless but interesting. To be as accurate as I can be in the actual kilometers traveled, the map shows the exact route I traveled including flight stopovers: Bangkok, Kiev, Santa Cruz, Hong Kong. RTW Stats: #interesting #useless

I will be retiring without $ 45.000.00 , so I cant go to places you have been to, I will just read your posts and think that Im travelling also, congrats in your achievement.
Thanks for following Filipina!
I love stats! Thanks for sharing! I don’t understand why people are so hooked up on the 45K. If you were to live in any western country for 14 months this is how much you would spend anyway on food, rent, going out with friends, clothing. In that case you may as well travel and see the world!
That’s right it’s actually rather cheap considering all the things I did. But it’s because translated to (the Philippine) peso currency, 45k seems like a big number. :)
just a thought, how many different kind of beers you’ve tried. and i’m not askin how many bottles you’ve emptied ;-)
I wish I have the number, but I can’t count that high! hahaha. I tried local beers in every country. And in countries like Germany, they have several local beers in one place. Scotland, England, Belgium, Czech, Poland…
I say money awesomely spent!
I know you approve! So nice you’re back on the road! x
Siguro, it will take me ages to come up with $45,000. lol Welcome home!!!
But don’t let that deter you. You don’t need $45,000 to travel or live your dream. Cheers and thanks for following.
indeed, stats are fun! i wouldn’t be surprised with the many bus and plane rides and trips, you could read 14 books while traveling!
Could’ve been more books had I gave in to Kindle earlier! :)
Nice great stats Lilliane, someday too. I think what you spent isn’t so bad considering all the places you’ve been to. God bless!
Interesting facts…
$45,000? *plans a bank heist on a bank without a CCTV camera*
Do not be disheartened, Marky. You don’t need 45K to travel the world. While I wasn’t a 5-star traveler (I din stay in expensive hotels/I stayed in dorms), I wasn’t budget traveling. I did a lot of expensive stuff (see my reply to DJ above).
Becks 5 grand alone is for our Galapagos! hahaha! and another 5 grand sa shopping nya on her last leg in US :-)
luv the stat! how you’re able to monitor it and all. numbers translate to me more for some reasons :-)
Hahaha! i have photos almost everyday. The kilometers are supplied by Traveller’s Point.
$45,000 for 14 months?! Ang gastos mo! HAHA
Hahaha. I can explain!
I dove the Galapagos. Carnaval in Brazil. Closing Party Ibiza. I had 5 intercontinental flights. I also consider eating a cultural experience so I ate street food as well as Michelin restaurants. And because I was contraint with 15kg baggage for 13months, I shopped a little on my last stop-USA. haha.
