It’s easier than ever for Filipinos to apply for Japanese tourist visa. Anyone who applied with proper documents is almost guaranteed entry. And all those who have previously been to Japan is granted 5 years visa. But this year there’s an additional form to fill up to request for multiple visa, so don’t forget
Japan Visa Application Procedure
Since July 30, 2007, Japan tourist visa application can only be made through an accredited travel agencies by the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines. The travel agency will check your requirements before submitting them on your behalf. This is actually more efficient because it saves a lot of time for both the applicant and the embassy. However, time is money, so while the Japan visa remains free, the travel agencies will be charging processing fee. It varies per agency

I wouldn’t recommend Reli Tours SM Southmall in Las Pinas. The travel agents there – Tess & Marjorie – are masungit and not really helpful. I’m quite particular with customer service, since I work in the industry as well. Perhaps next time I’ll try Reli Tours Dusit. I spoke with one of the agents there – Jeza(?) and she was very helpful on the phone.
same in Reli Tours Megamall. Di na ako uulit dun.

Hi Cind, would u mind if I ask where u submit ur applications? Thank u :)
I was reading your blog and others an hour before I received a message from Reli tours, asking me to come over and pick up my passport. I was granted a Japanese single-entry tourist visa! yay!!
I know exactly how the others felt. I thought I didn’t have enough funds. I just have around 11x, xxx in the bank and I’m going to Osaka and Kyoto for 12 days. I thought there was no chance.
I’ve only been with my current company for a little over a year but I have all the requirements. COE, ITR, leave of absence, round-trip tickets, hostel reservations from hostelbookers, birth certificate, bank certificate and itinerary. I spent a lot of time on the fake itinerary and made sure it will not exceed my budget for sightseeing. I even had a walking itinerary. It has the amount I’m going to spend at each tourist destination like entrance fees and stuff. It’s fake since I won’t be following any of it. I’m going with my boyfriend and we planned to do other things like whitewater rafting, canyoning and hiking since we are both adventurous. But he’s a privileged one for having an Australian passport.
Prior to this trip, I went to Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia and Hong Kong. I started going out of the country since March. Then, sort of became a monthly thing. I was making ipon of the stamps. Too bad HK don’t stamp the passports anymore.
Anyways, I submitted my application last Thursday. the visa was granted on Friday and I received my passport today, Tuesday. To those who are reluctant, if you have all the documents, there’s no reason to get denied. Best of Luck!

Hi wanderlass,
Hope you read this one po.. coz i really need an advice in getting japan visa. I have a cousin in japan married to japanese national, now they’re my guarantor, they will shoulder all the expenses as in lahat wala akong gagastusin. Then employed ako dto kaso hndi naman ako hinuhulugan ng tax ng employer ko even sss, but i have previous job na hinulugan yun. And then were planning to get 3 months visa na pwede iextend pa to another 3 monts to think na employed ako dto. Kase purpose ko dun is to babysit my pamangkin since both parents have work and at the same time magside line din doon for the rest of my stay para khit ppano may maiuwi din ako pagbalik ng pinas and also look for the company na pwede appĺyan directly. I also hav bank accounts kaso nasa 40k lang ĺaman e.
May chance ba ako na maapprove visa ko?
Thank you.. sana magreply ka po.

Ms. WANDERLASS
i don’t have ITR because i don’t have any bussiness
but i think i have money to travel in my bank account.
please give some help of advice…
ITR is part of the requirement, but they have been relaxed lately so maybe they will approve without it basta you have sufficient fund in the bank. confirm with the travel agency, they would have better suggestions.
Hello po, I just wanna ask. Thank you
hello kumusta po natuloy po ba kau sa japan?kumusta po ang apply nyo sa tourist visa without ITR?naaprove po ba?thanx po!
