It’s easier than ever for Filipinos to apply for Japanese tourist visa. Anyone who applied with proper documents is almost guaranteed entry. And all those who have previously been to Japan is granted 5 years visa. But this year there’s an additional form to fill up to request for multiple visa, so don’t forget
Japan Visa Application Procedure
Since July 30, 2007, Japan tourist visa application can only be made through an accredited travel agencies by the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines. The travel agency will check your requirements before submitting them on your behalf. This is actually more efficient because it saves a lot of time for both the applicant and the embassy. However, time is money, so while the Japan visa remains free, the travel agencies will be charging processing fee. It varies per agency

Hi! Ask ko lang po if I can apply for Tourist Visa sa Japan without ITR? I’m 43 years old i retired early all I want is to travel around the world that I can afford. Traveling to Japan is one of my dream? I need help here kung papaano makakapag travel ang mga retired individuals? Thanks so much po sa help.
1. Kapag 1st time ka mag apply for visa kelangan mo ng guarantor?
2. Kelangan mo talaga dumaan sa travel agency for application ng visa?
3. Ano difference ng with and without guarantor?
Hi! I just came from Japan by a guarantor. To answer your question #2 and #3, #2, yes, kelangan mo dumaan sa agency Kasi hindi pwede personal ang pagapply ng visa..
#3. With guarantor, sila ang mgsshoulder ng expenses mo while you are in Japan, and sila ang mggguarantee na hindi ka mg TNT or may kilala ka sa JP. just based on my experience with a guarantor. Without guarantor, ikaw Lang ang magapply ng visa mo.
Hi leslie. Il be going to japan by january. First time to travel abroad and with japanese guarantor. Heard a lot of stories of offloading at Naia. Can you share your experience and what are the requirements do i have to bring at Naia. Thank you and hope to hear form you.
As far as i know, hindi naman sila magooffload if you have the Japanese visa. and you must have return ticket, hotel booking confirmations and ID to show to the officer. or if possible, approval of leave of absence copy. :)
i have a japanese guarantor kase. do i have to bring some docs from my guarantor and what are they? thank you so much for your time
@ em marcial: no. docs from the guarantor are supposed to be submitted sa embassy for your visa.. they won’t offload you if may return ticket ka.. coz they will surely doubt na mg TTNT ka don.. just show them your ticket and you’re ready to go. just answer their questions truthfully.. and bring your company ID if your working and if possible, just show them your approval of leave of absence., Good luck! :)
Hi leslie. Thanks and hope to hear from you.
No.. Hindi Ako hinanapan ng invitation letter and guarantee letter.. But I think it would be best if you bring those letters.. Coz you might encounter a strict officer that would ask you.. I think pwede na ang photocopy,. Coz you will just tell the officer na ang original is kelangan ipasa sa embassy.
Thank you. Anyway thank you for replying.. More power to you!
hi again. how many months do i have to wait to apply again for multiple visa? what are the requirements?

hello po, i want to ask you if pwedi bang mag apply ng 90days visa ang boyfriend ko ?
Hello po! Gusto ko Lang po sana magtanong. According po sa blog nyo, visiting relative visa is until 90days. How about po pag 30days Lang and ang guarantor is not a relative po? Is it still okay to apply for a visa? My guarantor is a Japanese national and a friend.
Dear wanderlas
ang alam ko pag first time applicant you need birth certificate. only if you previously have japan visa that you are not required.

hi.. as far as i know, ang una mong visa dapat hintayin mong mgexpire muna before ka mkaapply ulit..
Dear Wanderlas

last 2010 p po yun and i got my visa. now i applying for tourist visa w/out guarantor and complete naman po ang requirements ko yunlan nagtataka ako kung bkit binalik sa akin ang birth certificate ko. thanks and more power to you.
Baste
Kaya binalik BC mo kse ngrant k n ng jap visa nung 2010, so ang BC po need lang for first timers. Kahit paso n ung visa mu since 2010 p eto nakita nman cguro s passport mu ung tatak nun kya nde k n required to submit ng BC…
Hi po good day!!! Galing po ako ng japan dumating ako last november 25 my gurantor po ako dati at tatlo po kami then nag apply po kami ng 30 days And now i invite po kami ulit ng gurantor this january gusto sana namin ay 90 days my posibilidad po ba na ma grant ulit? Thank you po…
Hello po! Yung 30days application po for tourist visa po, Hindi po ba mahirap? And guarantor nyo po is a Japanese national po? Thank you!
No guarantor. With guarantor you will not be given multiple 5 years visa.
i have a guarantor po kasi to bear all my travel expenses while staying for 30 days for a single entry visa ma’am.. :) maggrant po kaya yun and i have complete requirements po.. :)
Cguro magagrant k ulet lalo n kung wla k nman nilabag s batas nila… always remember japanese are law abiding citizens so kung wla k nman anomalyang ginwa during ur last stay then its possible for you to be granted again… just a thought!
hello po! i would like to ask are the requirements still the same when applying for 30 days visa?
how many percent is the guarantee to issue one? i had a previous Japanese tourist visa for 15 days and i would like to apply for 30 days this time..
Thank you!
depends on requirements you prepared. if they’re complete then it’s 100% guarantee. it is now standard to give 30 days visa.
is it necessary po to have a guarantor to bear all the expenses if mgapply po ng 30days tourist visa? My guarantor is a Japanese national po who happens to be my friend.. I was wondering if the 30 and 90 days visa sa mga may relatives po sa JP.
Hellow po,may ages limit po bah sa Japan,I mean pag tourist ka at walang guarantor,I’m here po Bahrain…plan SNA kmi ng friends KO to apply tourist visa Japan…San po ang mainam na mas madalling mkpg apply…ung NSA ibang bansa or sa pilipinas mismo….thanks po ,hope matulungan nyo po kmi…
Good Day!
Hi Ms.Melissa I just want to ask how to get a flight reservation/ confirmation without paying for it.. I cannot book a flight without visa.. please let me know how.
What I did is I just booked a flight from Cathay Pacific then I printed it, but it stated there that I only got 24hrs to settle the booking , is that okey ?
Thanks in advance..
You don’t need flight booking applying for Japan visa.
Thanks for the response, nabasa ko po kc sa ibang blog na ngsubmit cla ng flight itinerary anf hotel reservation.. =(
in our case, we did not submit our flight itinerary kasi hindi naman sya requirement (we booked our flights after we got our visa approved), although we did submit our hotel reservations as part of our daily schedule. :)
Hi marie, for hotel reservations do i need to pay for the rooms that i booked already? I was checking some hotels in tripadvisor and in some hostels/hotels you need to pay a reservation fee.
hi po! ask ko po kung ilan days maximum ang visa if ma grant po accompanying minor to japan. friend ko po yung mother married sa japanese at baby pa lng ng iwan na yung bata sakin 6yrs old na sya ngayon

Or sariling documents ko na po ipapass ko..kaso po wla po akng ITR never po kc ako ngwork sa company at wla din po ako business..pero may bank account ako..please help me po..thanks
Hi ask ko lang if Pano kung minor ako student pa lang, I dont have itr or bank certificate and bibisitahin ko yung boyfriend ko dun ? How do I get a bank certificate or itr and what are the requirements ?
Hi! I’m going there this Sunday to spend christmas with my boyfriend. You’ll need photocopies of your study load, student id (validated), original copy of your bank certificate (so open an account in any bank and put money in it. in my case, i placed more or less 100k in my account), daily itinerary in japan, your passport, original copy of your nso. And since you are still a student, i highly recommend you also include a copy of your parent’s ITR, their bank certificate as well, affidavit of consent and support and their Certificate of employment. Good luck! Please refer to their website for more info. My boyfriend is still a student in japan so he cant guarantee for me. If your boyfriend is also working, you can ask him to be your guarantor. :) hope this helped! Good luck! I hope you get approved! :)
Hi!
Yes. At least 6 months valid.
Wla kase ako bank acct n active as of the moment..
They actually don’t trust Filipinos with relatives here, so they just gave your sister 15days visa..
There are lot of TNTs here.. bilog..
And karamihan sa kanila is may kamag anak, so malakas ang loob..and because of that, sad to say, Japanese government are losing trust to Filipinos,
Thanks for these infornation by the way..
I will share this to my cousin para dna niya ko kulitin kuni n siya for tourist..hahah
2x po ako nahuli s japan. My possibilty p po bang makablik ako?
