Knowing about your RTW experience (eventhough I am way too late) is such an inspiration. Traveling is my dream! Thanks for firing up my desire to take the step in achieving it! More power! :)
Thank u for finding this and taking the time to let me know! :D
You are a heavyweight in backpacking world among pinoys. Inspiring indeed. I will have to do this one day but maybe for only USD25k for a year. I started saving already last year but i got bored and impatient so spent what i saved for a 5 month travel in India and Nepal. I started saving again now.
One word – Wow! I bumped into your site exactly during the time you posted your RTWs for the trip. Such an awe-inspiring journey, kudos to you WANDERLASS and welcome home!
Thanks, Jason. Always nice to hear that. :-)
Absolutely cool and truly inspiring! Thank you for the sharing the stats. Out of curiosity, when did you know it was time to go home?
Thanks Alexa. I told my family I’ll be away for a year and when I hit one year, I knew it was time to prepare myself. My sister and mom went to the US to meet up with me, so I was forced to book a ticket out of South America, haha. I could go on. I’m not tired at all yet. But it’s all good. :)
Good for you, Lilian. Been a follower since last year and you’ve some really amazing stories! I also love going back to your Salar de Uyuni (a dream place at the moment) fun shots. Keep going! :)
That’s incredible you kept such detailed records. I love you 20,021 photos the most :) I still feel travel is the best investment one could possibly make.
It’s easy because I have them all in my macbook iPhoto. I just added the #s, hahaha. It’s true, traveling life is the best. I miss it sometimes. But I’m still reflecting on whether it was good because it was not permanent. Cheers to you to be a real nomad. :)
Hi wanderlass! I’ve always been a lurker in your blog and your posts never fail to amaze and inspire me to go on that round-the-world-trip-of-a-lifetime! :) Its number one in my bucket list! Thank you for blazing the trail!
Thank you dear. It’s always a pleasure to know that we inspire in bits of ways. :-)
