Wonder what to pack for a round the world trip for women?ย Certainly not 365 shirts. Hereโs a list of what I brought with me and a video on how I stuff them all in a bag. Do you think itโs too much? Not? ย See how I fit them all in my Eagle Creek Switchback Max 25.
Everyone advised me to take less. And I really tried and was quite proud when I weighed my bag and it says 12kilos. You have to see to believe how much stuff I need in my daily life (in my room) and how Iโve reduced it to these few pieces in my bag is truly amazing, if I have to say so myself.
Iโve been 2 weeks on the road and proud to say Iโve not added another pound to it yet. If anything, I reduced it by giving away a book I thought Iโll read but never did. And lost a few small items along the way.
I regret bringing the wide angle lens for my DSLR since Iโve not used it since I arrived (thatโs all). Iโm dying for someone to take home the camera bag and the UWA lens for me. Philibert? Vangie?!
Disclosure: Eagle Creek and Columbia sponsored their items mentioned in this post. Thank you. โฅโฅโฅ
smart packing!what is the brand and model of your smaller backpack(black one)?
reply part 2…… hope to get notification on my email from above reply….
I got a sleeping bag along the way but no mosquito net. Mosquito repellant and take vitaminB at the Amazon. You wouldn’t believe but I got more clothes now than before although I just shipped home 7 kilos. I also got a pair of jeans along the way, lose the linen pants but still has trekking pants. I kept losing stuff but no problem because I love buying, haha. I still have the same running shoes and got a new pair of flip-flops bec the old one broke. I hate crocs. The clothes i had with me were gifts(from Columbia) so I brought them. Today I have 19 Kgs.
hey… just come across ur website via.. ‘professionalhobo’….
i like it. have only read, so far, ur packing list. i know u r a girl BUT u have so much stuff..do u need so many shirts/tops? they are all quick dry so the stuff will dry over night..do u need 3 razors? i am a guy and travel always clean shaven. i buy 1 razor at a time. i take running/hiking shoes and Crocs, which are great in the shower too. i take a sleeping bag and mosquito net some thing i see is missing from ur list. I was away 18 months and had the maximum at any one point, 11kg. thats when i was in Nepal and bought a very cheap down jacket for when on the ABC trek… as soon a s the sun goes down the temp drops…a rian jacket is mostly a waste of space. in asia an umbrella is better….. if too heavy , sit in a cafe and watch the world go by..
looking fwd to reading more….. ;)))
