I was recently in Cebu on a special trip that reunited some of the bloggers from my Trip of Wonders batch (3). Can’t believe that it had been 2 almost years since the Trip of Wonders. It was so good to see everyone again. We went everywhere together like we did in Indonesia. Us in front of Temple of Leah, an elaborate Roman inspired structure lovingly dedicated to Leah by her family.
Bai Hotel Cebu
Bai Hotel Cebu was our home for 2 nights. We had first hand experience the best of Bai Hotel’s five star services in a fuss-free business hotel set-up. The highlight is that we got to try out all of Bai Hotel’s 8 restaurants. Seems a lot for such a short stay right? But we did.
Bai Hotel is currently the biggest hotel in the Viz-Min region with 688 hotel rooms of 10 accommodation types. The hotel is fully in operation but with some minor works still on going. It will have its grand opening in March 2018.
The Rooms
This is the deluxe room I shared with Ruth. It spacious with beautiful interior fitted with thoughtful amenities such as below:
The Roof Deck Pool + Pool Bar
I love hotels with swimming pool even if I normally don’t go dip in. Just like the idea I can if I want to. Bai Hotel brought business hotel swimming pool to the next level – roof deck level to be specific.
The swimming pool area is gorgeous from all angles. It is located at the edge of the deck, so you can be in the pool and overlook the city below. Having a sundown swimming is the best because you will also have the view of the sun setting.
View from the Twilight Bar,
I suppose I should mention that they also have fully equipped fitness center with sauna; for people who are to gym as I am to swimming pool.
The Restaurants
Bai Hotel Cebu features 8 exceptional restaurants that are a gastronomical celebration. Some of us had the pleasure of sampling all of them. I missed out on the Japanese Restaurant Ume because I went diving in Mactan.
